04:24 Single Contiguous Model: In this model there is no sharing of RAM. One process occupies RAM at a time.When one process completes, another process is allocated RAM. In single contiguous model process memory size is restricted by RAM size.
06:36 Partition Model: In partition model, new processes are allocated memory as long as sufficient contiguous space is available.
11:16 Fragmentation: Partition model can lead to fragmentation. Fragmentattion means that memory space is available but not contiguous.
16:29 Deallocation & Limitations: Deallocation of memory can have overheads of merging partitions.The limitations of single contiguous model is that entire process needs to be in RAM. Allocation needed to be in contiguous memory which leads to fragmentation, limits the size of process by RAM size and leads to performance degradation.
