Voices of EuroMaidan: The library at the barricades

To commemorate the seventh anniversary of the EuroMaidan revolution, the Kyiv Post is sharing the eyewitness accounts of people who were carrying out their professional duties during the EuroMaidan revolution.

Anastasia Makarenko coordinated the Library of Maidan, an important cultural initiative during the EuroMaidan revolution. The main idea of the project was to create a comfortable space where protesters could rest and find intellectual enjoyment amid the chaos of the revolution.
