ABOUT MTCP SCHOLARSHIP
The MTCP Scholarship is sponsored by the Malaysian government and dedicated to international students from developing countries to pursue their postgraduate studies in Malaysia, whilst at the same time acquire the necessary knowledge and skills that could contribute to the development of their country. FAQ1: Do I need to apply to the university and obtain the admission letter first before applying for the MTCP Scholarship?❓
Yes Please. Interested applicants must secure a place in a Malaysian public university before submitting the scholarship application

FAQ2: When can I expect to be called for the interview session?❓
Please be informed that only shortlisted applicants will be notified for the interview via email by July 2025.

FAQ3: I have submitted the application, what’s next?❓
The application will be processed by the MTCP Secretariat. Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for an online interview session via email.
Your application is considered unsuccessful if you did not receive the email by 31 August 2025. You may also login into the application system from time to time to check on the status of an application.
