MEANING OF VARIATION
While manufacturing a product or delivering a service, practically, it is quite difficult to meet the target value all the time. This missing target is known as the variation of the process.
For example:
►Delay of the arrival of a train at the station 6 out of 10 times.
►A process fails more than 20% of items to meet the specification while manufacturing a product.
►More than 20% of calls get hold while calling a call center
