AI Logistics Billing Auditor – MarginShield | Mosaic Fellowship Builder Submission

This video demonstrates MarginShield AI, built for the Mosaic Fellowship Builder Round.

MarginShield AI is an AI-powered logistics billing auditor designed for D2C brands. Logistics invoices often contain hundreds of line items involving weight slabs, zone-based pricing, COD fees, RTO charges, and GST calculations. Manual verification takes 3–5 days and can still miss billing discrepancies that lead to margin leakage.

The system allows users to upload:

A logistics invoice

The signed contract / rate card

MarginShield AI then:

Extracts structured shipment data

Normalizes contract pricing logic

Cross-verifies each shipment against contracted terms

Detects discrepancies such as weight slab misclassification, rate deviation, zone mismatch, duplicate AWB billing, COD calculation errors, and GST mismatches

Quantifies financial impact

Generates a payout-ready corrected file

In this demo, the system identifies billing discrepancies, summarizes key patterns, and projects financial impact if similar errors persist.

The objective of this build was to demonstrate structured product thinking, operational problem understanding, and practical AI application in real business workflows.
