The Witchfinder General of the Colony of Massachusetts Bay issues a dire warning to all those who love God concerning the recent discovery of a secret wizarding world in the old country as revealed by one JK Rowling (a most godly man), and a diabolical school of witchcraft known as Hogwarts, where Christian children are taught to practice the dark and Satanical arts of magic.

"What's up with the weird accent?" It's a rendition of Original Early Modern English Pronunciation, commonly abbreviated as OP, an accent reconstructed by a linguist and Shakespeare scholar that's our best guess as to what people in southern England sounded like in the 17th century.
