Maverick is the new instrumental "single" from FM-84, featuring 3 previously unreleased bonus (demo) tracks.

"Maverick" is my love letter to Top Gun, Harold Faltermeyer and Steve Stevens.

“Atlas (Demo)” was written on New Year’s Eve 2015 when I was back home in Scotland visiting family for Christmas. I get a lot of questions asking if there was ever a full version of “Atlas (Interlude)”. This is it. It didn’t end up fitting the overall vibe of the album, so I cut it down to an interlude. It lives in its own space - a moment in time between the Los Angeles EP and Atlas (album). This is the original untouched demo.

“Fade (Demo)” was written in February 2016 during the Atlas album sessions. This is the instrumental track which later became “Running in the Night”. The extended live version of “Running in the Night” featured lots of melodic moments from Fade, which didn’t fit into the final vocal track. This track lives on its own - a spiritual companion to Running in the Night. This is the original untouched demo.

“Breathe (Bonus Track)” was written in 2011, long before I started producing music as FM-84. It was my love letter to Tangerine Dream and Ulrich Schnauss - two of my biggest musical influences. I wrote it just before I moved from Scotland to California. This is the original untouched demo.
