Reported Speech | ENGLISH GRAMMAR VIDEOS

We use reported speech when we say the words of other people. Reported speech is also called indirect speech.
4 important rules to remember when forming the reported speech;
1- Use a reporting verb (said/told/asked).
2- Change the tense of the original words.
3- Change the pronouns (I/you/we/he).
4- Change the time expression (yesterday/the day before).

*Be careful when changing statements, questions or orders.
Also take care if the phrases are affirmative or negative.
