carving on snowboard showing crash due to toe drag

carving on snowboard showing crash due to toe drag. The toe of both boots and parts on both bindings dragged in the snow on a hard toeside turn, which levered the board's edge out on the snow (the dragging toe acts as a fulcrum to disengage the edge from the snow). Adjusting the binding placement on the board may help this issue. The exact moment of disengagement is right a 0.46 seconds.

The board has a waist width of 24.5 CM and the boot size is 8. Asking any source in the industry and they would say that toe drag with these numbers would never be a problem. Unfortunately, that is not true if you carve the board past a certain angle.

UPDATE: I have fixed the problem with a combination of trimming excess toe strap protrusions and sliding the baseplate all the way heelside. No more toe drag. It's been too crowded lately to get good footage to show the improvement, but hopefully after the holidays, we will get some snow and the crowds will thin out.

Update 2: I can actually feel this happening through the boot and I've broken buckles do it it.
