'Unhinged race-baiters’ fan hatred after ‘entirely justified’ police shooting
Sky News host Rita Panahi says “race-obsessed” activists are fanning the flames of racial hatred and anti-police sentiment following an “entirely justified” shooting in the United States.
In Columbus, Ohio, a police officer shot dead a teenage girl about to stab an unarmed girl – action sparking waves of protest on Twitter.
“As you can see in the pic the cop had no choice other than to shoot, the only other option was to watch the assailant stab a girl with force,” Ms Panahi said.
“But for the unhinged race-baiters in America, the life of the girl in pink does not matter, for them black lives only matter when killed by a police officer.”
In this case the footage of the incident was released within hours revealing what Ms Panahi described as an “entirely justified use of force”.
High-profile basketball star LeBron James was quick to address the incident sending out a picture of the officer with the words “you’re next”.
Ms Panahi said he later deleted the tweet “playing the victim” and blaming his actions on a desperate desire for more accountability.
“How about some accountability for the hate, hyperbole and hysteria that you pump out to your more than 49.6 million Twitter followers," she said.
“How about some accountability for the life of the girl in pink, who is also black.”
