Global Issues Facing the New Administration

Join FPRI’s Robert D. Kaplan and John Nagl for this special conversation on the global problems facing President-elect Biden and his newly selected foreign policy team. They will discuss how the new administration might approach the challenges it is inheriting and the possibility of a new, post-pandemic world order. What are the major issues facing the Biden administration on Day 1? Will America rejoin international institutions like the World Health Organization, the Paris Accords, and others? What do the selections of Anthony Blinken as Secretary of State, Jake Sullivan as national security advisor, and Linda Thomas-Greenfield as Ambassador to the U.N. say about Joe Biden’s foreign policy agenda? These questions and yours will guide our conversation about the future of US Foreign Policy.
