DIY Miraculous Mood Lamp Craft 🐞✨ Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie | Netflix After School

Bring the magic of Miraculous to your room with this magical DIY paper mood lamp, inspired by Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie now streaming on Netflix! ✨

Materials:
- Cardboard or Balsa sheet
- White tissue paper or translucent paper
- Black paper
- Craft glue or glue stick
- Wood glue
- Paint brush
- Painters tape
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Light bulb + base or tea light

Instructions:
1) Measure 12x8 inch pieces of cardboard or Balsa wood to create the sides of your lantern. You'll need four panels for a basic lantern (one for each side).
2) Cut an 11x7 inch rectangle into each panel.
3) Cut white tissue paper or sheer paper to cover each of the cardboard panels.
4) Find an image of the character you want to silhouette and cut it out.
5) Trace the outline of the character onto black paper using a pencil. Carefully cut along the pencil lines to create the silhouette of the character.
6) Carefully glue the silhouette onto the tissue paper and press down to adhere.
7) Using craft paste or a glue stick, attach the tissue paper to each panel. Make sure it's smooth and free of wrinkles! Trim off any excess.
8) Once the panels are ready, attach the dowels. They'll work as both brackets and feet for our shade.
9) Apply wood glue with a brush in a thin layer along one side of the dowel. Place the dowel so that there is one inch of overhang at the bottom of the frame.
10) Apply another thin layer of glue to the side of the dowel that faces outward. Set another panel on it, and use tape to hold it at a right angle while it dries.
11) Prepare the other two panels the same way. Leave to dry for at least 30 minutes.
12) When the two sides of your shade are dry, apply the remaining dowels with wood glue and attach the two sides together to form a complete box shade.
13) Place lantern over lamp or add battery-operated tea light inside the lantern to make it glow!
