UNI-T UTi165A review - best value budget thermal imaging camera for 2020? - you decide!

On paper it compares well to (but is DOUBLE the resolution of) the FLIR TG165-X which has 80*60 pixels vs the UTI165A's 160x120 pixels, and does go up to 700-something degrees F. Remember though, unless you need lots of surrounding temperature information, you might be able to get by with a wide-range IR gun (not camera) such as this $26 job: https://amzn.to/2X4J2op The nice thing though about a thermal *camera* is you get to see the whole picture of what's going on, and also it can do the work for you of finding the coldest point and/or the hottest point in its view. Also, the picture-documentation of what temperatures were recorded is a huge plus. Hope all this helps. Thanks!
