President Trump 'has been splendid in draining the swamp'

Sky News host Alan Jones says US President Donald Trump "has highlighted many of the problems of world politics" and has "been a splendid person in terms of draining the swamp".

Discussing his thoughts on the US president with fellow Sky News host Graham Richardson, Mr Jones said Donald Trump "has dismantled many of the impediments towards good government".

"He breeds this sense of optimism,".

He also said the upcoming election is "going to be tough" due to the societal impacts of the deadly coronavirus pandemic and the vast unemployment it has incurred in the country.
