DIY Smoke Alarm MQ5

Smoke Alarm using MQ-5 Sensor, LM358, and Buzzer with 5V Relay Mode
Make Yourself a simple and effective smoke alarm system using
the MQ-5 gas sensor, LM358 op-amp, and a buzzer, along with
a 5V relay module for additional control.

Components:
- MQ-5 Gas Sensor
- LM358 Op-Amp
- Buzzer
- 5V Relay Module
- Resistors (1kΩ, 10kΩ)
- Potentiometer (10kΩ)
- Power Supply (5V )
Circuit Description:
1. MQ-5 Sensor: Use the MQ-5 gas sensor to detect smoke or gas presence.
2. LM358 Op-Amp: Configure the LM358 op-amp as a comparator to trigger the alarm when smoke is detected.
3. Buzzer and Relay: Connect the buzzer and 5V relay module to the output of the op-amp circuit.

Assembly and Testing:
1. Assemble the circuit on a breadboard or PCB.
2. Calibrate the MQ-5 sensor and adjust the potentiometer for sensitivity.
3. Test the alarm and relay functionality.
