This guy is walking down the street when he notices something hilarious about a parked New York City Police Department patrol car.

The license plate looks damaged.

Most people would probably ignore it and keep walking.

But not him.

He walks straight up to the officers and jokingly gives them a taste of their own medicine.

With total confidence, he warns them that they might end up getting a ticket for driving with a broken plate.

For a second, it sounds like the officers might get annoyed.

Instead…

they immediately start playing along.

One of them responds with a perfectly timed joke about why they still haven’t fixed it yet, and the entire interaction instantly turns hilarious.
