In this session, our teammate Erik walks through an introduction to Pulumi in a hands-on, unscripted format. Starting from the basics of infrastructure as code, he compares Pulumi to Terraform and shows how using familiar languages like TypeScript can make it easier to get started.

Along the way, he builds out a simple Kubernetes example, explores how providers are added, how preview and apply work, and how Pulumi tracks resource dependencies as you develop.
