Destination: NAVAL ACADEMY SUMMER SEMINAR part 1

Last month before we moved Khalid was invited to attend the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland for their summer session. It is a competitive program both physically and academically. He just finished eleventh grade and will be a high school senior. He knows he wants to be an engineer / bio-medical engineer & is hoping to go to MIT or one of the IVY League universities but is not sure about the military. His father & several uncles have attended the military. As parents we want to expose our children to as many good options as possible. We were impressed by the Navy's emphasis on academics and specifically Engineering. Ultimately it will be Khalid's choice where he goes to college.
