Linda McCartney's iconic photography features in a new exhibit at The Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles.
The 'Who Shot Rock & Roll' exhibition features the work of over 100 notable photographers from 1955 to the present and is the first major museum exhibit on rock and roll to spotlight the creative and collaborative role photographers have played during the history of rock music.
The exhibition also includes a new documentary produced exclusively for the exhibit. Check out the above clip featuring Mary talking affectionately about her mother's beginnings and how a shot of Mick Jagger and Brian Jones started her professional career as a rock photographer.
Along with Linda's work 'Who Shot Rock & Roll' features 166 prints from iconic photographers including Amy Arbus, Diane Arbus, Roberta Bayley, Stephanie Chernikowski, Danny Clinch, Anton Corbijn, Godlis, Jean-Paul Goude, Ross Halfin, Dennis Hopper, Richard Kern, David LaChapelle, Michael Lavine, Annie Leibovitz, Gered Mankowitz, Jim Marshall, Ryan McGinley, Marcia Resnick, Stéphane Sednaoui, Pennie Smith, Storm Thorgerson and Albert Watson.
The exhibition is open now and runs until 7th October.
