पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री एमजे अकबर द्वारा दर्ज कराए गए आपराधिक मानहानि मामले में दिल्ली की एक अदालत द्वारा बरी की गईं पत्रकार प्रिया रमानी ने कहा कि उन्हें लगता है कि कार्यस्थल पर यौन उत्पीड़न के खिलाफ आवाज उठाने वाली सभी महिलाओं की तरफ से इस फैसले के माध्यम से उनका रुख सही साबित हुआ.
प्रिया रमानी ने साल 2018 में ‘मीटू’ मुहिम के तहत तत्कालीन केंद्रीय मंत्री एमजे अकबर के पर यौन उत्पीड़न के आरोप लगाए थे.
