Birdlife at the Wadden Sea at the island of Texel in the Netherlands during sunrise. The Wadden Sea is the largest unbroken system of intertidal sand and mud flats in the world. In 2009, the Dutch and German parts of the Wadden Sea were inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List and the Danish part was added in June 2014. The wader are mostly Red Knot and you will see Northern Shovelers and Eurasian Wigeons
