Our program is taking off—literally! The Aerospace Engineering Minor was introduced in Fall 2024. In Fall 2025, we will launch the Aerospace Engineering major along with our graduate program offering Master of Science and Ph.D. degrees in Aerospace Engineering. There’s no better time to become an aerospace engineer and reach for the skies!

At USF, we’re shaping the future of aerospace engineering with hands-on research sponsored by NASA, the Department of Defense, the National Science Foundation, and the Space Force. Our students tackle cutting-edge projects such as: Designing Resilient Aerial Vehicles for Contested Airspaces Innovating Autonomous eVTOL Control for Safe Urban Air Mobility Leading the Charge in Sustainable Aviation Developing Supersonic and Hypersonic Airplanes.
