The best EV Stocks to buy now include Workhorse (WKHS) Lordstown Motors (DPHC) Hyliion (HYLN) Tesla (TSLA) NIO (NIO) and XPeng (XPEV).

Ranking these stocks was a bit difficult considering how great each of these companies are but here's the listing and my reasoning for you!

6. DPHC: Lordstown is a spin-off on Workhorse considering the CEO of their company was the founder of Workhorse. They're currently undervalued, considering their 180 ema line on the 180d 4h chart but according to their RSI and the MACD indicator they're still trending down. I'm ranking Lordstown in last place since they haven't produced any vehicles yet and they are delaying production until next Summer (2021). This puts them at the bottom of my list in terms of best EV stocks to buy. That's not to say they're a bad company, in fact, you could argue you're getting a discount by buying in before they begin production.

5. XPEV: XPeng is similar to NIO in that they're both Chinese electric vehicle makers but XPeng doesn't produce nearly as many cars as NIO. They just rolled their 10kth P7 off the assembly line which is great progress. Their stock is slightly undervalued as it's been consolidating for the most part but we just got a sell signal from the MACD indicator. Because of their current low production numbers, I placed XPeng as #5, but they very well could be on par with NIO someday.

4. WKHS: Workhorse is one of my all time favorite stocks, I've made countless videos on their company. Considering they're well underpriced right now after the USPS didn't announce the winner for the NGDV contract, you can get Workhorse stock at a nice discount! Beware, they are trending down still judging by the RSI and they might get rejected by their 30sma line. They plan to produce 300-400 vehicles by the end of the year, making them my #4 top pick for electric vehicle stocks. Keep in mind, I have 10% of my portfolio in this company so hopefully that gives you insight on how well I think of these EV stocks.

3. HYLN: Hyliion was one of the biggest disappointments in terms of electric vehicle stocks recently. Personally, I think they're the best EV truck company on the stock market but many disagree considering how much they sold off after their merger. They're down 60% and the trends aren't in their favor, which means if you're buying in now you're getting some deep discounts for HYLN.

2. TSLA: Tesla is the obvious choice when it comes to electric vehicle stocks, but considering their current valuation, you could say they're overvalued. They have a lot to prove to fill their $400bn market cap and I think they will, eventually reaching $2tn market cap. They've been trading sideways and slightly up over the past month on hopes their earnings would go well, and it did, but after a report came out from China with 30k recalls their stock fell. This means you can pick TSLA up at a slight discount!

1. NIO: NIO is the best EV stock to buy right now! I say this because they're just now starting to ramp up their production numbers exponentially, very similar to what we saw from a young Tesla. They have been more favored in comparison, up 150% in the past 2 years vs. just 50% from Tesla in their first couple years but I think there's a lot of room for growth. NIO stock has been trending up as of recently and shows no signs of slowing down! Personally, I'm waiting to buy so I can get a better deal.
