Manga Note: Mikuro is not really the blood brother of Yakushimaru but his adopted brother. Yakushimaru's mother simply lent her womb for the fetus to grow. But when Mikuro's real mother sees her son's powers, she becomes afraid, saying this horrifying boy is not her son. Thus Mikuro becomes Yakushimaru's brother. Mikuro has been reared not to abuse his powers.
