RV 10 N783V Video Tour of Plane HD 1080p

Several people have asked questions about my airplane in the videos. So, this video is purely about showing you the plane. It's a Van's RV-10 "kit" plane. It took me exactly 4 years (to the day) to build it (Date of 1st rivet to date plane was picked up from paint shop). The majority of it was built in my 2 car garage at home. Hope you enjoy the tour.

Here are a few FAQ's:
1) How fast is it? Typical cruise is 170 KTAS between 5,500 and 9,500 feet altitude. (That's 170 knots in the air, or 195 statute mile per hour for you car guys.) Speed across the ground will vary based on headwinds or tailwinds.
2) What is it made of? Majority of airframe is aircraft aluminum and fiberglass.
3) How many rivets did you have to "buck" to build this plane? Approximately 17,000.
4) How many will it seat? 4 adults comfortably
5) How much fuel will it hold? 60 gallon
6) How much weight will it hold? Useful load is 1050 lbs. (this is how much fuel, people and bags it will carry)
7) What's it's range? Approximately 800 miles with fuel reserves leftover.
8) What's it's economy? With "no wind", approx. 17 MPG.
9) Does the tail number mean anything? Yes. All planes registered in US begin with the letter N. I was married to my wife (of 38 years) in July, 1983 (783) and my last name starts with a V. Therefore N783V!
