What’s up, guys. Welcome back! Today on Crafty Hackers, we’re making a miniature Hollywood Hills Celebrity Mansion complete with a pool, lounge area and fun little decorations and things.

First, take a bunch of popsicle sticks, mark them in the middle and cut them in half. Then take apart one of this little clothespin clips. This is a little trippy, we know, but you’re gonna glue the little clothespin handle onto a big clothespin handle. See, you made a chair back. Now flip it over and glue the popsicle sticks to the other side. Now it’s a lounge chair that still totally works as a clothespin. Add some cotton ball pillows and cut pieces of felt for towels and it’s chill time by the pool.

Now, take three pipe cleaners and twirl them into this swirly unicorn horn shape. Wrap a bunch of twine around it, and make it a friend so it doesn’t get lonely. Got both of them done? Great. Now cut a piece of brown felt fabric into a strip about his big. Fold in half, fold in half, and cut a bunch of slits in the bottom to create this fringe look. Do this trick with a tan piece of felt too. Now glue your felt, fringe thingy to the top of your pipe cleaner twine thingy. Wrap around the dark brown piece of fringe as well and glue it. Now bust out the parchment paper. Put a little dot of hot glue down on the paper, and put the stems of some artificial leaves in the glue, like this. More glue, more leaves. Ok perfect. Now glue the leaves to your fringy stem to make a palm tree. Cuz you know celebs are all about that sun protection.

If you’ve got a little box lying around, hang onto it. We’re gonna have some fun with it. First, put a piece of marbley contact paper on the bottom of the box. Add some double stick mounting tape. Then cut a piece of coated wire and bend it into a sort of oval shape. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Then cut a plastic spoon and grab the lid from an old camera film container. Then, snip this metal piece off an old earring. Ok let’s recap, you should have a spoon piece, an earring piece, a straight wire, a bent wire, and that little plastic lid. Got it? Good. Now, glue the metal piece to the end of the straight wire. Then, glue the spoon piece on top. On the lid of the film container, put a small dab of hot glue. Stick your spoon contraption to the lid. Then grab your bent wire and clip it onto the straight wire. You just made two barstools for Barbie and her friends.
