In this video, I'll show you how you can save some money by not purchasing a Shopify domain name, and instead using a domain name from Namecheap. I'll walk you through purchasing the domain and connecting it to your Shopify account so that you can use your custom domain name instead of the myshopify.com domain that you are given when you first register for a Shopify store.

In this video, we will need to remember the following details (this will be explained within the video):

Your "A" record should point to Shopify's IP address, which is 23.227.38.65
Your www "CNAME" record should point to shops.myshopify.com
