Fully built Focus ST at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway
I cannot put into words how this day made me feel! After making some changes to the air ducting and a better oil cooler, I could finally push the ST harder for longer. The extra seat time allowed me to set a new unofficial PB of 2:05. I say unofficial because of the circumstances but I go into it later in the video. The temps stayed very consistent and when they got higher than I'd like them to be, all I had to do was let off a bit and the temps would come back down so it added some strategy as to when I should go wide open throttle or hold back until I had a good lap going. The brakes did get hot multiple times causing the brake fluid to boil but I'll show you guys how I'm gonna take care of that. This trip was honestly one of the coolest days of my life and it makes me even more stoked for the more track days to come! Hope you enjoy!
