First Climb With The 2018 Treemotion & Other New Gear_Recreational Tree Climbing

Come along on this slow paced video featuring my first climb with a new Teufelberger Treemotion Harness (2018 version), a new DIY adjustable chest harness and a newer 8mm RIT hitch cord on 11mm HTP rope. I had to relearn the best length and tending point for the knee ascender bungee. I also move my permanent canopy anchor point a little higher in the white oak and experiment with tending the Hitchhiker by the bridge ring and not the Hitchhiker holster.

Will the 8mm RIT hitch cord work on the HTP rope? Will I ever get my leg pads adjusted correctly? Will I figure out the correct bungee length and tending point? Will I accidentally drop webbing slings out of the tree? Lets find out...

This video features mostly natural sound and is edited much less than previous videos. I did speed up a few sections to save the viewer some time as I fuss with rope or the bungee.
