Evening ride in an old Ikarus 280 articulated bus thru Chisinau

They started in life in yellow color, probably bought in late 80's or early 90's, and were repainted in this white and blue scheme in early 2000's.
Either way, they have been in service at least for 30 years.

The good: you feel the quality, and the ride sits high. It drove quickly through the streets, overtaking trolleybuses, and there was always plenty of room, as you can see.

The bad: it's slow, noisy (though it's good noise from the differential), and by now, gives off quite a lot of pollution.

The feeling in this video, is you step back in a simpler time into 90's with the dim lights, and ticket press, and relax.

This route, Number 46, is also prestigious, running from the Vatra water reservoir, thru Stefan cel Mare boulevard, past all the landmarks, and onto the quieter residential district of Boranica, right by Valea Trandafirilor (Rose Valley) forest/park.
