In this 1on1 interview, Arshan meets up with rapper Lil CandyPaint. Meeting in Lose Angeles, we started off the interview talking about the importance of visuals and how working with DotComNirvan and Lonewolf has allowed him to express that. He also talked about eventually working with popular videographer and creator of Lyrical Lemonade, Cole Bennett. Cole Bennett is known to have worked with names such as Smokepurpp, Juice Wrld, Ski Mask the Slump God, YNW Melly, Lil Tecca, NLE Choppa, and Jack Harlow. Arshan then brings up the interaction between Cole Bennet and Duwap Kaine of twitter, and how Cole Bennet is very specific on the artists he works with. As the interview goes on, Lil CandyPaint speaks on living with Lil Tracy and how Lil Tracy is a part of his main circle and has helped get his cult following. Lil CandyPaint speaks on not just blowing up, but getting bigger gradually and allowing his fans to be a part of his journey. In regards to his fan base, Arshan brings up how either people hate or love this music genre and how artists like Duwap Kaine, Pierre Bourne, and Bktherula fall under this category. Lil CandyPaint mentions how Pierre Bourne is someone in this category as his music is always suggested on his soundcloud. Further talking about his following, Lil CandyPaint compares himself to Drake. He talks about how just like himself, people either love or hate Drake. On the topic of Drake, Lil CandyPaint considers Drake and Future to be major influences on his music, and how one day he hopes to become bigger than Drake. He also compares this analogy with Lebron and how people will either love or hate Lebron James. Arshan also asks him about his other influences, in which Lil CandyPaint says Chief Keef was his initial influence when he started rapping. As the interview goes forward he talks about being original, keeping his circle small, and moving to Los Anglees at the young age of 17. This is part of our content from our recent trip to LA.
