This is a song that I have always loved. The groove is deceptively simple. There is a swing to this straight ballad groove and that little bit of swing can make or break the groove. It’s a pure pocket song, no drum fill craziness. Just simple, single open hits on the toms and cymbals. It’s truly a study in less is more playing.
