Goat water an amazing stew goat recipe you will not find anywhere else - like this! I know St. Kitts and Nevis have theirs and some other islands too but I’m biased - sorry 😉
It’s the national dish of my island Montserrat and is a direct reflection of our African and Irish ancestry.

Hi, I'm Keshia! Thank you for visiting my channel and watching one of my videos! Ingredients
.
1kg Goat meat (with and without bone)
5g Cloves
5g Pimento
A few sprigs of Thyme
½ bulb Garlic, crushed
1 scotch bonnet, chopped
1 celery stick, chopped
½ green pepper, chopped
1 brown Onion, chopped
1 tsp browning
1tbsp Brown sugar or molasses
5g Mace
A few Bay leaves
1tbsp Rum (optional)
Salt and Pepper to taste
1tbsp oil
1tsp cornflour
.
Serve with some fresh baked plait bread
