SDRAM configuration on STM32F746

In this video I go through the process of configuring the FMC interface for communicating with external SDRAM.

The timing configuration is important as well as setting the 'REFRESH_COUNT'.
Also remember to change the defaultTask stacksize to something bigger - I use 4096
AND change the totalheap size for FreeRTOS to something larger (it has to accomodate the 4096 words). I use 32768 as total heap size.
