I was there for this "very rare" footage of the birth of "Sylvia's Mother" and the beginning of the magical fusion of Ron Haffkine - Producer, Shel Silverstein - Writer, & Artists - Dr. Hook, resulting in 62 Gold Records and international super star recording artists.
How proud I am to say I discovered Dr. Hook, along with Arnold Capitanelli, in a small little club in NJ when they were merely a "cover-recording" band, and then introduced them to producer Ron Haffkine, which led to such classics as: "The Cover of 'Rolling Stone'", "Only Sixteen", "A Little Bit More", "Sharing the Night Together", "When You're in Love with a Beautiful Woman", "Better Love Next Time", and "Sexy Eyes".
