Learn Signing - Top 10 Helpful Phrases for Nurses

This video uses 'Total Communication' - signing and speaking at the same time. The signs are taken from BSL (British sign language) and presented in spoken word order to support understanding of the spoken word or to aid lipreading. Total communication is a way of communicating which gives access for people who are deaf, deafened or hearing with a communication difficulty.

The video covers a range of phrases that nurses and other health professionals have requested in a survey as their top 10 most frequently used phrases. This is only a limited taster so please contact if you would like to learn more.
