Serving the Nation's Oldest Living WWII Vet

Meals on Wheels Central Texas and The Home Depot Foundation partnered to renovate the home of Richard Overton, the nation’s oldest living WWII veteran, earlier this summer. The project is now complete, and Mr. Overton is enjoying new floors, central air and heat, an accessible bathroom, and more. Watch as Mr. Overton and his family friend talk about the impact the renovations will have on his life.
