Should You SELL When the Stock Market Has CRASHED?
Whenever the Stock Market crashes, there are many strategies of how to mitigate your risks and save your portfolio. In this video, I will tell you what I personally plan to do. As well as suggesting some portfolio management tips for both risky and conservative investors.

There is no denying the fact that the stock market briefly touched the correction zone recently
And we still don’t know whether we’ll go down even further or start recovering
Tips I’m sharing here applicable for any scenario now or in the future
My honest opinion btw, we are near the bottom for the nearest future
Alright, so what am I going to do if the stock market keeps going down?
But seriously, nothing new that I am planning if the stock market indeed continues to go down
Will continue DCA
Impossible to time the market
Besides selling at correct time
You need to buy before the rally starts
Which means you have to correctly time the market twice
So, as you can see, no matter what happens I am not selling
If I am in the investing game for 30+ years, monthly volatility is simply irrelevant
And DCAing helps to smooth out this volatility
For those of you, who do not know what DCA is
Spending the same amount of money at the same time and buying as many stocks as possible
If the market is low, more stocks
If high, less stocks
And since some shares are down as much as 50% from their ATH
This gives me a perfect opportunity to build large positions in such companies
Because if I am willing to buy a stock at $300
Why wouldn’t I want it twice as much when the price is $200
Think about price decline not as something that destroys capital
But something that gives the opportunity to buy cheap
Another thing stock market crash now or in the future is to never panic
But what if you are some1 who has higher risk tolerance
What would I do if I were you?
High risk high reward
The stocks that fall the most during crash, have the highest potential to grow back
Assuming these are legit and financially stable companies
So don’t go no rushing investing in obvious scam companies that fell 98% from ATH
What I am talking about here are mainly technological, innovative, software, and similar
Companies that have the potential to impact the future
If you have the guts to survive stock market turbulence
Check some of these companies that fell significantly
These are the companies that usually fall harder than the stock market in general
But they tend to recover faster and stronger
My criteria for selection here would be the following
No high debt
Legit business and existing products and services
Clearly defined future potential and vision
Once again, be extremely careful
Companies might fall additional 50% 60% like it's not a big deal
So, there might be a period of big losses
Before things start to look better
You need to be emotionally prepared for losses several years before you can even break even
Things will look awful
It may seem like there is no future
Or that the share price may never recover
If you are not ready for it, don’t invest in such companies
But if you are more conservative investor
This is what I’d personally do
I’d be just more diversified in the first place
And you are 100% in stocks, I’d reallocate my assets as soon as possible
The general rule the closer you are to finish, the more fixed income securities you need to have
Don’t chase this additional 10% potential gain
While you have a chance to lose 20% of your portfolio
For this reason, conservative investors should always have different asset classes
Besides stock, think about adding bonds, treasuries, commodities, or real estate
Such portfolio might not perform as good as super risky high growth portfolio during bull
But it will resist most of the decline during bear market
Because the final stage of investing is about protecting your capital
Not accumulating it
