Hong Kong fire: Death toll rises to 94 as search and rescue mission nears end

Hong Kong’s worst fire in nearly 80 years which spread through massive apartment complex killed at least 94, injuring many others. The massive fire destroyed the Wang Fuk Court housing complex in the northern district of Tai Po from Nov 26 to Nov 28. People who resided in the same building still wait to hear from their colleagues who lived in the same building. The eight-tower estate housing more than 4,600 people had been undergoing renovations and was wrapped in bamboo scaffolding and green mesh. According to Reuters, Firefighters said they expect a search and rescue operation at the still-smoldering complex to be completed soon
