LOMI | SOBRANG SARAP!

LOMI is a Filipino chicken noodle soup originated in Lipa Batangas, invented by a Chinese who stayed in Lipa, named To Kim Eng in 1968. It is made out of a very thick fresh egg noodles, chicken strips is sautéed with garlic, onion, fish sauce and pepper, chicken stock is added and it is thickened by adding cornstarch and beaten eggs.

It is mostly served in carinderias here in the Philippines and best eaten during winter and rainy season. It is best served while steaming hot.
