Judy Garland - Cole Porter Medley [Remastered] (The Academy Awards, 1965)

Judy Garland is introduced by her "For Me And My Gal", "The Pirate" and "Summer Stock" Co-Star, Gene Kelly. Garland sings a medley of Cole Porter songs, including; "Night and Day", "I Get A Kick Out Of You", "It's De-Lovely" and "My Heart Belongs To Daddy". This medley was arranged by Garlands former vocal coach and Friend, Roger Edens. The medley served as a tribute for Porter, who had passed away in October 1964. This was a huge night for Garland, but many Fans criticise Edens for his arrangement.

This is an edited excerpt from the 37th Annual Academy Awards Ceremony, which was held at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on April 5, 1965 and was hosted by Bob Hope.
