87 Pound Newman Motor. Check link to newest documentary on Newman life in info section
For those who haven't seen this interesting new documentary on the life of Joseph Newman and the sad conclusion to his experiments click here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CrJIzrmX1mI
I'm also posting an article by a guy named Norm Biss who worked with Mr Newman and came to conclude Mr Newman was a less than honorable in his business practices.

It probably surprises my subscribers to see I continued to experiment with this motor idea based on my previous experiments, but since adding more wire to my motor had decreased its speed and current consumption while increasing the motors torque I just had to try as seen in this previous videos. Part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVkSoHrTGMs &
Part 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmkzfZ8b4rs
Technically speaking I should have used copper enamel magnet wire rather than insulated wire in my design. A much thinner wire would have been better so I could have more turns closer to my magnets. I also should have made a double sided commutator to switch the polarity into my coil every 180 degrees of rotation, but for the time being I wanted to use what I already possessed rather than spending any more time and money on this project.
I guess you could say everything I've done so far has proven the second law of thermodynamics to be correct. Should I have made it larger? Is it possible Mr Newman really was on to something? I'm not sure I will ever know.
