Sustainability is dead. Long live regeneration! | Maja Tampe | TEDxESADE
Business as usual is no longer good enough for our planet and all life on it, and sustainability as usual only slows the damage. Yet we can create a more desirable future if we tap into our deepest aspirations for proactively regenerating our planet. Maja Tampe is a researcher and educator in sustainability and leadership at ESADE. Naturally curious, she is particularly passionate about agriculture and food systems. In her research, she deeply engages with agricultural producers around the world to understand: How do they deal with the challenges of strained nature and communities and of volatile markets? And how do some producers not only survive, but grow and flourish? In her teaching, she aims to facilitate learning through creating experiences and dialogue among students. Maja earned her PhD at MIT Sloan School of Management and a Master’s degree at Harvard Kennedy School. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
