Claas LEXION Combines Straight Cutting Canola 2020

More and more canola is being straight cut in Western Canada as new varieties are promoting the Pod-shatter trait. This ensures that the canola does not get swathed way too green as is known to happen and thereby reducing yield significantly.
In this video, near Elm Creek, Manitoba, three Claas 8700 LEXION combines attack a pretty nice field of canola with 45' straight-cut draper headers.
