How to Apply UTM Tags on Meta Ads

1) Navigate to your Ad, scroll down and under Destination, find the Website URL box

2) Insert your landing page URL

3) Click on URL Parameter

4) Advise this link to create correct UTM Tags: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/9756891?hl=en

Scroll down to Channels for manual traffic and advise the instructions under Paid Social:

Source matches a regex list of social sites

AND

Medium matches regex ^(.*cp.*|ppc|retargeting|paid.*)$

Alternative Option:

1) Navigate to https://ga-dev-tools.google/ga4/campaign-url-builder/

2) Insert your landing page (with the https://www.)

3) Type the UTM paramenters

4) Copy the tagged URL and insert it under the Website URL box in Meta Ads Manager

Tips:

Always use lowercase (UTM Tags are case sensitive)

Never user spaces
