Sometimes she forgets she can fly.

When my mum tells me to open my door because Luti is walking to my room, I grab my camera and prove to the world how unbirdylike my yellow bird really is.

Luti passed away on 21/4/2010, we had her for 11 years :( rest in peace little birdy, we miss you terribly xx

**update** Can I just say that all of you guys are awesome for watching this video, and for keeping the memory of Luti alive! Thankyou so much for being such a wonderful community :D

And to those of you who insist that Luti was male and not female as I have previously stated, rest assured she was definitely female as she lay eggs a couple of times (funny story, we actually thought she was a boy for a number of years!) and it is impossible for male birds to do this.
There are a few of you asking how you can find out the sex of your cockatiel without them laying eggs, if you are one of them check out http://www.cockatielcottage.net/cocka... for some tips on colourations. Luti was a Lutino cockatiel (guess where we got the name from) so her orange cheeks were always going to stand out against her light feathers, but on the underside of her wing there were bright yellow spots against the general whiteness and her tail feathers had stripes/bars on them, both of which are typical signs of a female cockatiel. Hope this helps!
