How to cheaply convert an AC-only stick welder (Lincoln "Buzz Box" / "Tombstone" Welder) to DC on the cheap!

I use a 1400V 400A Full Wave Bridge Rectifier to convert the AC from the transformer to DC. It worked great and was only about $30 delivered from eBay.
My lead/cable connectors should be delivered in a few days, so it'll be coming back open to install those, and I've got a Wire Feeder to add to the mix as well coming soon!
