Great Cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo) in dispute

With few other bird species around, I was at least entertained by the Great Cormorants. Several were locked in lively disputes over landing rights on a small floating island, providing plenty of action (and photo opportunities!) throughout my three-hour visit. I later turned the best shots into a slideshow with upbeat music to match the energy of the scene.
