BOTIM Incoming Call Not Ringing – 100% Working Solution

1. Check BOTIM Notification Settings (Most Common Cause)
On Android
Go to Settings → Apps → BOTIM → Notifications

Make sure Allow notifications is ON

Ensure Incoming Calls is ON

Set Sound to a ringtone (not Silent)

On iPhone
Go to Settings → BOTIM → Notifications

Turn on Allow Notifications

Enable Sounds, Banners, Lock Screen alerts

2. Allow BOTIM to Run in Background
Android
Settings → Apps → BOTIM → Battery

Select Unrestricted or Allow background activity

iPhone
Settings → BOTIM → Background App Refresh → ON

✅ 3. Disable Do Not Disturb / Focus Mode
If DND is ON, your phone will not ring.

Android: Settings → Sound → Do Not Disturb → Turn OFF

iPhone: Control Center → Focus → Turn OFF

✅ 4. Check Internet Calling Plan (UAE Only)
If you're in the UAE:

BOTIM calling requires Etisalat/du Internet Calling Plan

Without it, calls may come silently or not ring at all

✅ 5. Clear Cache (Android)
Settings → Apps → BOTIM → Storage → Clear Cache

✅ 6. Update BOTIM
Old versions sometimes have ringtone bugs.

Open Play Store / App Store

Search BOTIM → Update
