ChatGPT Can Now Alert Trusted Contacts 😳 | OpenAI’s New Safety Feature!

OpenAI is introducing a new “Trusted Contact” feature for ChatGPT.
If AI detects possible self-harm or dangerous mental health situations, a trusted adult chosen by the user may receive an alert asking them to check in. Interestingly, OpenAI says trained human reviewers will also be involved before taking action.
The feature is optional, and chat transcripts won’t be shared with the trusted contact.
